As Chief Technology Officer, Alex leads the engineering teams responsible for Yelp’s consumer experience, business products, and AI transformation. Alex joined Yelp in 2013 and has served in several leadership roles, overseeing the engineering teams that build Yelp’s business owner experience, subscription products, and internal business technology platforms. Before Yelp, Alex served as a consultant and later as Head of Engineering for the healthcare analytics firm Arcadia. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Russian from Tufts University.
