David joined Yelp in 2020 to serve as our Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Yelp, David served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Optimizely, Inc. and has held senior finance positions at eBay, Inc., including serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of eBay’s North American Marketplaces business, where he had a key role in growing Gross Merchandise Volume to more than $30 billion. David also helped to drive significant improvements in marketing efficiency there. Earlier in his career, he was an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets division. David holds a B.S. from the University of California, Davis and an MPA in economics and public policy from Princeton University.
