SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Yelp Inc. (NYSE: YELP), the company that connects people with great local businesses, today announced its 2026 Fall Product Release, introducing more than 30 new features, integrations and updates that further transform Yelp with AI, making every interaction more personal, seamless and actionable. Updates to Yelp Assistant, the company’s AI chatbot, include an OpenTable integration, direct booking with service professionals, customizable reminders and more personalized responses. Yelp is also introducing Check for Me, an AI phone agent that checks restaurant wait times and texts consumers the answer, as well as My Lists, a feature that allows users to save, rank and share local businesses. For service professionals, the new AI-powered Smart Lead Reply will automatically respond to and qualify incoming leads. New scheduling integrations with ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro, as well as lead management integrations with Jobber and Workiz, enable seamless lead management and conversion directly on Yelp. Plus, new updates for advertisers make ads more targeted, relevant and easier to measure.

You can now book OpenTable restaurant reservations in Yelp Assistant.
"This release marks the next step in our journey to transform Yelp into an intelligent, more personalized experience that effortlessly adapts to each user’s individual needs," said Akhil Kuduvalli Ramesh, chief product officer at Yelp. “Over the past few years, we've been transforming how people connect with local businesses — moving beyond search toward trusted AI experiences that understand what people want and help them get it done. This is just the beginning of what a more intelligent, helpful Yelp can do for the communities we serve."
Yelp Assistant: Smarter and more personalized
Yelp Assistant continues to evolve from a discovery chatbot into an AI assistant that’s uniquely personal and helps people get more done. Yelp Assistant now integrates with OpenTable, allowing users to discover and book at tens of thousands of restaurants nationwide on iOS. Consumers can also join a Yelp Waitlist directly in the chat with real-time updates when their table is ready. Combined with existing Yelp Reservations, DoorDash and Grubhub integrations, Yelp Assistant now serves as a one-stop destination for booking and ordering with more than half a million restaurants.
Yelp Assistant is quickly becoming a go-to way consumers hire local pros: approximately 10% of Request a Quote submissions came through Yelp Assistant in Q2. Now, with more services scheduling options through ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro, as well as an expanded integration with Calendly, consumers can book directly with even more professionals. Consumers can also submit quote requests for up to five projects in a single conversation.
Additional Yelp Assistant updates include:
- Keep Me Posted: Lets users create personalized scheduled recommendations — like weekly date night ideas or dog-friendly hikes — delivered through push notifications.
- Smarter, more personal answers: Responses will draw on reviews, reference past conversations and factor in real-time weather. A refreshed landing page features timely, trending prompts and recent chats are saved for future reference.
- Easily accessible: Beyond its dedicated tab, Yelp Assistant is now accessible from search pages and the search bar on iOS and Android.
Check for Me: Calls the restaurant, confirms the wait time and texts the answer
The new Check for Me feature calls a restaurant on a consumer's behalf and texts the current wait time within minutes. Consumers simply tap “Check wait time now,” enter their party size and phone number, and the AI agent calls for them — so they can decide when and where to dine without picking up the phone. Check for Me is rolling out in the coming months on eligible restaurant business pages and Yelp Assistant in the U.S. on iOS.
My Lists: A new way to discover, decide and share
My Lists
helps consumers curate, organize and share local favorites. Consumers can create “Been Here” lists for places they've visited and “Want to Go” lists for spots they’re excited to try. Consumers can filter lists by location, category and cuisine, and share them with friends via text, social and more. Starting next month, Yelp will deliver weekly personalized recommendations based on a consumer's “Been Here” lists and rankings. The My Lists tab is available on iOS and Android and all lists are viewable on desktop.
New AI-powered tools for service professionals
This release brings a new set of AI-powered tools designed to help service professionals respond faster, win leads and streamline scheduling.
Rolling out next month, Smart Lead Reply is an AI agent that responds instantly to consumers after they submit a project through Request a Quote — answering questions, gathering project details and qualifying leads. Pros can customize it with scheduling links, pricing, promos and more. Smart Lead Reply will be available for $30 per month to businesses in eligible categories that use Request a Quote, including movers, roofers, plumbers, home cleaners, contractors, electricians and additional services businesses.
Service professionals can also now offer direct scheduling on Yelp through new integrations with ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro, as well as streamline lead management through integrations with Jobber and Workiz. A redesigned Aggregated Leads Center also allows multi-location businesses to track and respond to requests from all locations from a single inbox.
“A hardworking Pro shouldn’t have to choose between the job in front of them and winning their next customer,” said Charles Deutsch, SVP of Pro Revenue at Housecall Pro. “With this integration with Yelp, they don’t have to. The customer can pick the time that works for them and the appointment shows up seamlessly in Housecall Pro — all while the pro remains focused on their current job.”
Expanded advertising capabilities
Yelp Audiences ad campaigns now feature intent-based custom creative, matching each consumer's past search intent on Yelp with the most relevant brand creative across the web to drive better results for advertisers. A new Shopify Conversions app lets advertisers connect Yelp's Conversion API to their Shopify store to link ad clicks and views to purchases.
